BeInG an ICT sTuDeNt

We are all familiar with what a computer is in a specific, contemporary sense. Personal computers are found in most aspects of daily life, and for some it is hard to even imagine a world without them. But the term computer means more than simply the Macs and PCs we are familiar with. A computer is, at its most basic, a machine which can take instructions, and perform computations based on those instructions.
When I was in the elementary, I don't even know and I’m afraid to manipulate a computer. Cause our Barangay School don’t have a subject about computers. It’s funny that I was so ignorant when I see computers, when I was in the elementary. But when I went to first year, we have a TLE subject. We were so lucky because it is all about computers and its programs. I’ve learned so many of it. But when we are in 3rd year, we have started about social networking until now 4th year. We also tackled and learned about Blogs, HTML Tags, Creating movies, Editing photos and more.
I’m happy because we are lucky to have a computer subject.  And being an ICT student is fun and very grateful at all. And I want to thank all of our subject teachers in ICT from 1st year to 4th year because you have taught to us so many lessons about computers, social networking and more. Thank you Ma’am and Sir for all. :))

My dReAm, mY FutUrE

“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal. Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you will see farther.”
My vision for the future entails many goals that I know I will have to work hard to achieve. I feel that the path to accomplishing my goals will be though hard work within my education. Having a dream is hard to achieve. Many hard works must do, downs and ups must encounter to achieve that dream.
Car specialist, computer engineer, business manager, car racer, basketball player, rich guy with a happy and peaceful family, famous guy, all of this are I want to be and have on the future. There are so many dreams I have:). I don’t know if I can achieve these dreams, but hard works, doing my best and having faith in God; maybe I can achieve these. I know that there will be many obstacles that I encounter. But I would not give up achieving my dreams, I would do my best, I would study and work hard. And I believe that I can do it, I have hope. :))

New Year, New Life!!

As 2011 winds down, I reflect on the past year and its lessons, and then look forward to the new one, a clean slate. Many people, on New Year make resolutions but they don’t know how to keep them.  One sort of resolution has to do only with oneself. They might decide to lose weight, to stop eating candy, to exercise more, or to watch less TV. Other resolutions might involve family or friends. They could resolve to be more patient with their little brother, to be more helpful to their mom, or not to get into fights with friends. Some resolutions are about school and the outside world, such as getting to class on time, trying for better grades. Everyone is just using New Year resolutions as a way to procrastinate, also knowing the pledge they made will probably be short lived.   If we want to change something in our lives, it is up to us, and there is no time to waste.   Make the commitment to do it now and not later.   That later may not ever come about.   Life is too short to put off the important things that we know we need to start accomplishing today, because life happens, and we all know what that means.
You don’t need New Year’s resolution for a better year life. It all depends on your attitude, works and beliefs. And also on how you make your year be better. Resolution is just a guide. Me, I don’t have any New Year’s resolution this year, it’s because maybe I wouldn’t keep those. All I just want is to be a good son to my family, be a good friend, be good lover, and also a good son to God. I just gonna try my best to have a better year this time.

"Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue"

“Our native language is like a second skin, so much a part of us we resist the idea that it is constantly changing, constantly being renewed”.
Language represents traditions and cultures in a place. Mother tongue is a “blessing in disguise”. It is not merely a time-table subject in his education but is forced upon him from all sides. It is learnt by both the direct or conscious and the indirect or unconscious method. The direct method supplements and regulates the knowledge gained by hearing.  The mother tongue is an indispensable instrument for the development of the intellectual, moral and physical aspects of education.
Keeping in mind our Mother tongue or Mother Language is very important. It serves as the identity of our home place.  It also reminds us about our family, friends and also our childhood life. Mother Language is also a treasure on us, and it has been a tradition to pass it down to generation to generation. I’m very proud of my Mother Language, we must be. And we must not forget it because its a treasure. Keep it in our mind.
